“The Guinness Arms had character rooms and the hallway was just as nice. Our room had aircon and also a skylight which had retractable blinds if you wanted to look at the sky or not. “Great place to stay for Forest Live. Hotel is lovely, warm and welcoming. It was a warm day so quite hot inside but we spent time outside in the huge gardens, the bar was open and we sat next to the river. Breakfast was superb, fresh fruit and proper butchers sausages! “Era justo lo que necesitábamos. Estuvimos una noche "rápida" (llegamos a final de la tarde y salimos pronto a la mañana siguiente). Pero el hotel cumplió con lo que necesitábamos. El personal muy amable, nos recomendó un buen restaurante italiano bastante cerca (5 min. andando) que sin duda valió la pena. ”

“Our rooms looked nothing like the photo’s on here. The carpets had huge stains on them and the furniture was dated and beat up. Our window would not open and the frame was rotting. Our bathroom was dark and the shower would sporadically turn burning hot to freezing cold. The women’s toilets in the bar area had multiple out of order signs on the doors and the one I was able to use had a huge hole in the wall where tiles were missing and broken.
